Adobong Puso ng Saging (NutriAsia)

4tbps SILVER SWAN SOY SAUCE | |
1/2cup DATU PUTI VINEGAR | |
1 - 1 1/2cup water | |
1 small onion, finely sliced | |
8cloves garlic | |
1 puso ng saging, chopped | |
pinch pepper | |
2 tomatoes, chopped, to garnish | |
2pc kalamansi |
Directions
1.
ADOBONG PUSO NG SAGING ( NUTRTIASIA)
Chop the puso ng saging lengthwise. In a bowl with the juice of 2 kalamansi, soak the chopped puso.

In a pan, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer. Add the puso and cover with more water.
Mark as complete

After five minutes, add the onions, garlic, Silver Swan Soy Sauce and Datu Puti Vinegar and pepper. Do not mix it.

Simmer the puso until its cooked.

At the last minute, add the chopped tomatoes.
Mark as complete
6.
Serve with hot rice.
Tip: When cooking with vinegar, do not stir the recipe. This is an old wives tale that says that mixing it will make the dish too sour. We tried it out in this recipe ( no mixing) and it turned out perfectly!
